Interfil is Norway’s leading manufacturer of air filters for ventilation systems in buildings, industrial applications, and specific uses where air quality control is essential.

With a steadily growing business and factory since its founding in 1991, came the need to optimize internal logistics. After careful research and consideration, Interfil installed the Eton System in 2014.

By connecting the two large production halls with a fully automated overhead conveyor system, Interfil eliminated the need for manual handling and truck transport between the facilities. Since installing the Eton System, Interfil has improved efficiency and quality control across all parts of production at their Skjåk facility. Fewer trucks in the area have also greatly increased on-site safety.

Why the Eton System?

The flexibility, accuracy, and reliability of the Eton System proved to be a perfect match for Interfil. By connecting the two production halls with a 50-meter-long passage containing the conveyor belt, Interfil resolved the challenge of having semi-finished products made in a production hall far from the final assembly area.

Now, Interfil can track each product and have them delivered at the right time, in the right place, and in the correct order.
